Amitabh Bachchan Lent His Voice For Promo Song Of Pro Kabaddi League 2015


The megastar of the Bollywood industry, Amitabh Bachchan has sung the promo song ‘Le Panga‘ of Pro Kabaddi League 2015. This is going to be the second season of the sports championship. Big B lent his voice for the song, which eventually has been made available in four different versions.

Earlier also, Bachchan has sung some songs like Holi khele Raghuveera, Ekla chalo re and Piddly for movies. The 72-years-old star unveiled this news on his blog. Junior Bachchan, i.e., Abhishek is the owner of one of the Pro Kabaddi teams – Jaipur Pink Panthers, the title defenders. The season two of the league will kick off on 18th July 2015.

“Okaaayyyy, so the song that I have been musing and easing and frightening you all with, is a promotional song for Pro Kabaddi, the game that starts on July 18, and yes Jaipur Pink Panthers with their new logo and the leadership of its owner Abhishek will be playing the opener in Mumbai and so Star, that broadcasts the game, asked me to get involved in its singing,” Big B wrote on his official blog.

“The song has been written by Piyush Pandey the iconic Advertising Guru and dear friend and it had been recorded as per the tune dictated by the channel,” he added.

Amitabh Bachchan has improvised the promotional song by adding some of his own stuff to the track. It has been released in Hindi and Marathi.

“I felt though that it was a bit slow keeping in mind the pace of the game and so I composed a faster version, and recorded it at my dear friend and music director Aadesh Srivastav’s studio, this has now gained approval and shall be on air or on the net by tomorrow morning IST, there are, therefore, 4 versions sung by me – 2 original in Hindi and Marathi ad 2 my compositions in both languages,” he shared.

He will appear next in Wazir with Farhan Akhtar.

A total of 60 matches will be played in which every team will play two matches with every other team. Finally, the top four teams will proceed to the semifinals to be played from August 21.
