‘Baahubali’ Moves Ahead For Rs 400 Crore At Worldwide Box Office

Director SS Rajamouli had a dream to create one of the biggest films in the industry. His latest venture, Baahubali, is proving to be the same.

The latest film starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Anushka Shetty is getting near to the mark of Rs 400 Crore at the worldwide box office.

Baahubali was released about 2.5 odd weeks. It is the first part of a two part film. As of now, it has created many box office records.

The film is still faring well, bringing in very good income since its release. Talking only about Indian box office, then it collected around Rs 50 crore on its first day. This is the highest collection for an Indian film till now.

The film became one of the most critically acclaimed movies of India. It has been possible only because of the great plot and technology used. It is something like never seen before.

Its Hindi version collected over Rs 70 crore till now. Talking about the Tamil, and Telugu versions, they brought huge collections. It has earned so much that it became the highest grosser in the Southern part of India.

As of now, it has collected approximately Rs 385 crore as a total sum at the worldwide box office collection. It will soon cross the mark of Rs 400 crore and will set a new milestone. It is expected within coming some days.

On one hand, most of the films struggle to earn even Rs 100 crore while on the other hand, it collected Rs 200 crore in just 5 days of its release. The film has left counters counting more and more collections.

The release of Salman Khan’s latest film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has somewhat restricted the earning of Baahubali.

The first part was made on a high budget of approximately Rs 250 crore, making it one of the costliest movies ever made in India. The second part of the series, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion‘ is slated to release in 2016.
