Bajrangi Bhaijaan: Highest Grosser of 2015, Galloping Towards Rs 300 Crores

Kabir Khan’s latest release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, starring Salman Khan is setting up milestones on a daily basis at the box office. It has now become the highest grosser of the year 2015.

Moreover, it has collected more moolah as compared to what SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali did in the same time period.

One of the most popular trade analyst, Taran Adarsh of revealed the collections on the micro – blogging platform Twitter.

Last but not the least, it has also become the highest grossing venture for Salman Khan, surpassing the collection of his last film, Kick.

The reports of Box Office India, one of the trusted sources in the industry reveal that Baahubali collected about Rs 224 crores at the domestic box office in its first ten days of release.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Harshaali Malhotra. The film is continuing its magnificent journey collecting more and more money.

It┬ábecame the fastest earning Rs 100 crore film. It crossed this milestone in its first weekend only. Moreover, it became the quickest Bollywood flick to earn Rs 185 crore in just a week. It has broken many records and created new ones. Not only this, it has surpassed the benchmarks set by Bollywood blockbusters like Aamir Khan’s PK and Shah Rukh Khan’s Happy New Year.

Talking about its collection in Pakistan only, then it earned over Rs 38 crore in its first seven days of release and that too, from Islamabad and Karachi only. It left the collections of film like Bin Roye and Wrong Number, which released with Bajrangi Bhaijaan, far behind.

As far as the worldwide box office collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is concerned, then it has already collected Rs 400 crore as reported by DNA. If it sustains itself very well for some more time, then it can be expected to earn Rs 500 crore easily.
