[callout]The heartthrob Emraan Hashmi returns once again with a role for which he used to be famous in back 2005-09. Fans will revive the true love, its sacrifices and desires of a lover in the upcoming feature film – Harmari Adhuri Kahani featuring Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao. [/callout]
The trailer starts with a husband leaving his wife and going out. The wife tries to stop him, but the drunken guy with long shaggy hairs does not listen a word and dumps her. The police catches the man and arrest him for misbehaving with her. It is clear from the start that it is a dysfunctional marriage in which the woman loves her husband, and does not bother his drinking habits, scolding and shouting. Here the husband is Rajkumar Rao and wife is Vidya Balan.
An unknown (Emraan) guy jumps in-between the life of wife/husband to pave their way to togetherness. In this process, Emraan falls in love with Vidya but she does not. Vidya still can do anything to get back her husband (who is in prison now), even after knowing that the relationship is a troubled one. The dialogues clearly portray that feeling through the character of Vidya.
From the director of Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain – Mohit Suri, whose all films have been hit in the commercial market. The trailer is unveiled today on YouTube by the distributing company FoxStarHindi. It will hit the nearest theaters on June 12th, 2015, and you won’t be willing to miss one if you know what is the taste of a true love story.
I’m just speechless with the response. It’s unexpected, seeing so many people emotionally connecting to it. Maybe since I’ve been so closely associated with the film, I’m not able to judge it anymore. I’ve lost all perspective. But I’m happy that went ahead and made the film when I read the story.
I’m really glad that I stuck to make this film. I wrapped up Ek Villain in June last year, and in August I began working on this. It’s been about a year I’ve been involved in it. Mr Bhatt (Mahesh Bhatt) had begun writing the film right after Aashiqui 2… So, it’s been two years on Hamari Adhuri Kahani. One production for two years, and now this kind of a response to the trailer. It feels really good.
The producer Mahesh Bhatt reveals the trailer on his Twitter handle too. The story is rumored to be based on Bhatt’s parents’ love story.
