Parineeti Chopra has been selected and appointed as the brand ambassador by the government of Haryana for the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao‘ programme on Thursday. This campaign is to save and promote the value of the girl child.

‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ is the campaign meant to ensure the survival, protection and empowerment of the girl child. It was launched by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in Panipat earlier in January 2015. Parineeti Chopra was present on the occasion of launching it.

The state government has appointed her on the basis of the performance given by her at national and international level, as it wants to deliver the message to all the parents that if a girl child is given sufficient and required resources then she can also touch the sky.
Parineeti debuted in Bollywood with ‘Ladies’ v/s Ricky Bahl‘ for which she later received the Filmfare Award. She was awarded with the National Film Award for ‘Ishaqzaade‘. Shuddh Desi Romance, Hasee Toh Phasee, Dawaat-e-Ishq, and Kill Dil are the major films in which she acted.
