The handsome Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood has turned 42 today. On his birthday, several people, including film stars wished him in their own ways. They wished all the good things to him on his special day.

Sonu debuted in Indian film industry with a Tamil film, ‘Kallazhagar‘. He has played protagonist as well as an antagonist in many flicks. After his debut, he appeared in a Telugu film ‘Hands Up!‘ which released in 2001. Thereafter, he came into Hindi films and started his Bollywood journey by playing the role of Bhagat Singh in ‘Shaheed-E-Azam‘ in 2002.

Sonu came into limelight with the directorial film of Mani Ratnam, titled ‘Yuva’ released in 2004. After this, the audience started knowing him as Abhishek’s brother. Another successful film of his career is ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ which got him recognition in the industry.

He rose to the fame with his Telugu film ‘Arundathi‘ which was a blockbuster. He was cast opposite to Anushka and played a very dreadful villain. He was awarded a Filmfare Award (south) for it.

His well known antagonist role which was very appreciated is as Chhedi Singh which he played in Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg‘ directed by Abhinav Kashyap. His last film on the silver screen was ‘Happy New Year‘ directed by Farah Khan and released in 2014.

In 2015, he is going to debut on small screen with a comedy show. He will be a judge on the show’s panel.
