Shatrughan Sinha, the veteran actor who later turned himself into a politician revealed that he is a committed soldier of the Bharatiya Janata Party and still believes in it.
Sinha, who is a Member of Parliament made this statement after being criticised twice by the party members for appreciating Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
“I joined the BJP when there was no chance of it coming to power,” Sinha told reporters.
He, also known as “Bihar Babu”, said that he is much senior to the party members who had questioned his commitment and dedication towards BJP.
Some leaders inside the party criticized Sinha, who is a Lok Sabha member from Patna Saheb, for appreciating JDU’s Nitish Kumar twice. The same incident happened two times recently.
Recently, Shatrughan Sinha quoted the Bihar’s Chief Minister as the best the state has ever got till date. On the other hand, some persons of the BJP itself questioned his loyalty even for meeting Nitish.
Moreover, he has made it clear that he is not leaving BJP and said that people should stop making speculations over his future career in the party.
Shatrughan was not present in the Gaya rally hosted by PM Narendra Modi recently.

Recently, he expressed his unhappiness over expelling 25 MP of Congress party.
According to the Statesman, the Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan suspended them for repeatedly and intentionally obstructing the proceedings of the house. They didn’t even consider the repeated requests of Mahajan and thus were expelled for a period of five days.
