Global Commons are the basic amenities of life, essential for the survival of the survival of society and the well-being of the planet. It includes culture, traditions, natural resources, etc. Everything across the world is being commoditized by the powerful and rich persons. Thus, this is the high time to take some serious actions.
Since a long time, several social workers and activists are trying to protect the global commons. Noam Chomsky is one of them whose struggle and views are shared at this link. According to him, even creating boundaries and separating nations is against the principle of global commons.
In June 2015, Huffingtonpost.com reported that the USA should take steps for the greater good and defend the global commons rather than showing naval supremacy.
