Arshad Warsi turns 47 – Check his best roles and movies!

Arshad Warsi is one of the finest Bollywood actors who has a wonderful comic personality. He has benn entertaining audience sincle the last two decades.

He was born on 19th April, 1968 and ever since his childhood he wanted to act. In the early days before becoming a celebrity, he was used to work as an assistant under Mahesh Bhatt. In the year 1993 of film ‘Roop Ki Rana Choro Ka Raja’, Arshad appeared as a dance instructor.

Arshad started his career as an actor in year 1996 with film ‘Tere Mere Sapne’ produced by Amitabh Bachchan company ABCL. The film was a hit at the box office. After his debut, he had several amazing opportunities such as ‘Betabi’, ‘Hero’, ‘Hindustani, ‘Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet’, ‘Jaani Dushman’ etc. But, unfortunately, some of the them were not able to bank much at box office.

In 2003, the movie “Munnabhai MBBS” film proved crucial to the career of Arshad Warsi. Vidu Vinod Chopra’s film changed the lifeline of Arshad, it made him a star Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt were seen together in a film for the first time, and Arshad impressed us with his comic performances.

After the grand success of Munna Bhai MBBS, the actor started receiving good films to ac in such as ‘Hulchal’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya’ etc. Again he stood by his promise and gathered praises for his acting.

In the year 2005, it was a breakthrough of his career, he acted in ‘Sehar’ and won the hearts of the audiences. The same year, had a film which dramatically changed his image in industry, he received Best Supporting Role by prestigious Filmfare Awards for film ‘Saalam Namaste’.

The very next year, 2006, he starred in the sequel of Munna Bhai MBBS which was ‘Lago Raho Munna Bhai’. It gave him an ample opportunity to bring fire in viewers heart by his comic timing and character of ‘Circuit’.

‘Golmaal’ which could be stated as the best film of his life till now. It released in year 2006, directed by Rohit Shetty. He mesmerized watchers with his punchy laughter lines which fully entertained people. The series has been completed its 3 sequels and Arshad appeared in all three films.

After the Golmaal franchise was completed, he was ready to again woo his fans with another hit. This time, it did not run well on Box Office due to lack of comedy and humor. But, it was the most critical acclaimed movie by Arshad and he starred in the lead role, too. He was again rewarded with a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Role.

In the year 2013, he was featured in ‘Johnny LLB’ as a lead character. That was another breakthrough hit movie and critical acclaimed movie. It did an average Box Office.

Now it is wait for his upcoming films ‘Welcome 2 Karchi’, ‘The Legend Of Micheal Mishra’ and ‘Guddu Rangila’.
