This could be undigestable to some people that the character who appeared in kid shows inspiring, motivating and entertaining from children to young ones, got a U/A Certificate. Many of you could not get it but the Censor Board has given it an Universal & Adult certification. The reason is given below in the article.
The populous director Dibakar Banerjee is coming up with his new venture featuring the extraordinary ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’. Recently his upcoming film has been crowed as U/A by Censor Board of Film Certification particularly in India.
The executive director and CEO of CBFC told that, “We gathered our reviewing committee to examine the movie completely, they decided to better give it a U/A tag. We have not stooped by producers to re-review the film. And everyone feels happy about this certification.
Dibakar seem to be happy with the decision of CBFC, and he did not find any facts to appeal for reviewing the film again just because the film was completely un-cut even after examining it. But they also asked at the same time to cut down some fight scenes as they may seem inappropriate to audience. We were happy doing that.
Dibakar never had to convince CBFC, and his movies passed CBFC flawlessly. “He did not even face any issues from government of CBFC when they released Shanghai which was based on political matters. As always CBFS have done what they are great it. We, as directors, also have a responsibility for society”
Well this news is quite thrilling to someones. Censor Board had not cut any kisses scenes or sensuous scenes, rather they decided not to violence via movies. As you may image that being a Detective Byomkesh Bakshy has to fight with so many people around him. And it is kinda not good for society.
