Hamari Adhuri Kahani, which garnered positive views from the audience right after the trailer release, featuring Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan & Rajkumar Rao is released at the Box Office this Friday. Generated buzz with its high scenes, but eventually failed to mint average critics ratings.

Hashmi & Balan are seen together third time, their first two outings were ‘Ghannchakar’ & ‘The Dirty Picture’. It’s a no doubt that people loved this pair and appreciated the true romantic story based on the love saga of Mahesh Bhatt’s parents.

One-Paragraph Review of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’

The unrealistic melodrama makes the audience wander into the theater about the Bhatt’s love story which eyes unexpectedly to one another’s eyes. After having grasped an abundance of pupils with its trailer and songs, the loose story drops down the entertainment of emotional scenes.

Hamari Adhuri Kahani 1st Day Box Office Collection

The film does not have a gala time at the Box Office because of its competitor featuring an ensemble cast Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh & Anushka Sharma. It’s last week released Dil Dhadakne Do; DDD is comparatively received a strong recommendation from critics.

Talking the commercial grip of the newly released HMA, it attracted 20-25% occupancy, which is considered as a below-average on the scale of 100%.

The same happened with HMA which usually happens with a movie, which hikes the rate of expectations by showing inappropriate motions in the trailer and adding few romantic tracks sung by today’s generation singers.

With no luck, the movie averaged Rs 4-5 Crores (Exact Figures to be updated soon), the most income came from multiplexes where, rather watching drama or thriller, audience prefers romantic and emotional flick.

Though, it had just released, it is expected that the movie will do promising business and would recover the post-production budget completely. The total box office collected is to be averaging somewhere between 30-35 Crore Rupees.
