The latest movie of Bollywood diva – Sunny Leone and Ram Kapoor – Kuch Kuch Locha Hai released yesterday along with pique starring Deepika Padukone & Amitabh Bachchan. Which one do you think would collect convincing figures at the Box Office?

For a low budget movie like Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, the first day earnings are crucial and matter the most. That defines whether it will be able to recover its production cost and add some profit to the producer’s pocket or fail at the Box Office.

It is another brick in the wall, the movie failed to attract a good amount of audience, which eventually turned out to be a bizarre for the production house. It opened at the lowest occupancy of 10-15%, which is an open rate for new-comers’ (debut actors) movies.

Although it created much buzz around the B-Town with its songs, promos, dialogues and trailer, but it could not convince the viewers. The biggest confusion was created by its genre, which could not be identified clearly by goers. As critics said it was something different, co-star told another and producers came up with adult-comedy. However, Sunny Leone clearly denies that it is an adult picture, rather she said it is a family drama-comedy movie.

At the studio of Komal Nahta, Sunny Leone said, “It is for the first time I’m doing comedy movie. And this is not an adult-comedy film. I am not exposing my body or anything which is not suitable for less than 18. Rather, it is a family-comedy picture. I hope that people will like it.” Ram Kapoor was available at the show and he also provided assurance to the point of Sunny.

The first day collections, at the box office, were recorded to be 4.2 Crores. Would it be able to hit Rs 20 Crores mark at the box office? Ram Kapoor said that if the movies does Rs 20 Crore or above business that it would be cool and amazing.

Single screens are receiving a good response from Sunny Leone fans. But the multiplexes are still waiting for the footsteps of the ones who would love to donate their money and time in a 2-hour brainwash movie. From critics, it is a complete bizarre and brainwash. That is what made people think twice before taking any decision whether to go or not go for Kuch Kuch Locha Hai.
