By | Jul 24, 2015

On one hand, Salman’s latest release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ is garnering all the possible remuneration from the box office, while on the other hand, the Censor Board of Pakistan has banned ‘Bangistan‘.

The Mumbai Mirror has reported the upcoming comedy satire starring Pulkit Samrat and Riteish Deshmukh has been banned in Pakistan.

The decision of the board came out just on the basis of the film’s trailer. They stated that the film is unsuitable to be launched within the country. It may affect the box office collections severely.

The co-producer, Ritesh Sidhwani is ready to do anything to remove the ban. As per the sources, he has applied for visa himself along with actors, Riteish and Pulkit.

Ritesh Sidhwani said that he is ready to go to Pakistan in order to show them that the film is not about what they think. He added that trailer doesn’t mean the whole film. According to him, there is nothing to feel offended by any means. The film is made to spread a social message through comedy.

Moreover, he added that the suicide bombing is common in both the countries. The youngsters need to look at it and they should realize that this should not be done. This type of activities only hurts themselves and their loved ones.

‘Bangistan’ star cast has Jacqueline Fernandez in a cameo role, Arya Babbar, Tomasz Karolak, and Chandal Roy Sanyal.

The film’s plot is about the two suicide bombers who are brainwashed to get involved in a terrorist mission. But eventually, they got to know that this thing leads to nowhere. It only brings catastrophic results.

Directed by Karan Anshuman, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment.

‘Bangistan’ is slated to release on August 7, 2015.
