The premiere of Parched starring gorgeous actress Radhika Apte is to take place at the Toronto Film Fest 2015. The film, starring talented Bollywood actress is directed by Leena Yadav.
The film’s plot is based on the strange story of four ordinary women Rani, Lajjo, Bijli, and Janaki who lives in the center of the parched rural area of Gujarat in India.
Along with the leading actress of Badlapur, the film stars Adil Hussain, Surveen Chawla, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Sayani Gupta. The film festival will take place from September 10 to 20.
Radhika Apte took the good news regarding his film to the micro-blogging platform Twitter to share the same. She is very much excited about the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). She tweeted:
“And it’s official! #Parched to premier in #TIFF2015 @leenayadav @TannishthaC @SurveenChawla @_AdilHussain finally!! I am so happy.”
It looks like that Radhika is riding on her favorable time. She already has been in the news with her acting skills in Badlapur, short film Ahalya, Anurag Basu’s Choker Bali, etc. She has garnered very good reviews both from the audience and the critics. She seems to be at the top of her career until now. Her future projects include Manjhi: The Mountain Man, in which she is cast opposite of Nawazuddin Siddique, and Kaun Kitne Paani Mein, opposite to Kunal Kapoor.
Radhika has emerged as a very talented actress in Bollywood and proved her worth in the Industry by doing some critically acclaimed films. As per the latest reports, she has bagged a film for herself opposite to none other than Indian superstar Rajinikanth.
Within the world where glamour and looks dominates, she has successfully managed to redefine a particular niche for herself. Her looks and talent have proved to a deadly combo. A lot of good work is expected from her in future.
Other directorial films of Leena Yadav include Shabd, and Teen Patti in which the well known and talented actors of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt; and Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley, were in lead roles respectively.
