Sanjit Bedi Died Of Brain Virus, on June 23

Sanjit Bedi, who rose to fame by Sanjeevini (Indian Daily Soap), has been suffering a brain ailment which took his life away on June 23, 2015. The television actor was famous for his role of Doctor Umesh Omi; has been in a coma for some time.

The actor’s burning ritual has been performed on June 23, at 11:00 AM in the morning at Mumbai’s Chandanwadi Crematorium. The actor had a wife.

The death came all a sudden surprise to the hospital faculty when they noticed that the heart rate monitor has stopped showing readings, he was hospitalized around 1 and a half month ago.

The television fraternity expressed their sole condolences on Mr. Bedi’s death through Twitter and Instagram.

Another television actor Karanvir Bohra (good friend of Bedi), who even co-starred with Sanjit in Kasuatti Zindgi Ki serial posted a few photos of them together on Instagram.

The other companions came together to support the family in this hard situation – Kamya Punjabi (TV actress) and Nivedita Basu (Creative Director at Balaji Entertainments) tweeted:-

Apart from Sanjeevni, he had also featured in grand TV serials like ‘Jaane Kya Baat Hui’, ‘Thodi Si Zameen Thoda sa Aasman’, ‘Kasautti Zindagi Ki’, ‘Kya Hoga Nimmon Ka’, and few other Ekta Kappor’s (Balaji Entertainment) shows.

Though he did not survive enough time to leave a legacy over the television and film industry, but still, for his undisputed acting, the actor will be remembered by the union.
