Corey Anderson Hits Fastest Century of International Cricket | 36 Ball Century

Fastest ODI Century by Corey Anderson (New Zealand) : Records are set to be broken by somebody and today, on the 1st day of happy new year – 2014, a 17 year long stand record has finally been broken. The record, which was set by a 16-year old lad, Shahid Afridi, the record of the fastest one day century has been broken by NewZealand’s Corey Anderson. He smacked a thundering ton in an ODI against West Indies off just 36 balls.

The left handed striker smacked the ball in all parts of the ground and ended up unbeaten on 131 in just 47 deliveries.

He smacked 6 fours and 14 raining sixes.

Due to rain, the match was reduced to only 21 overs each side. After a heavy rain for very long hours, NZL team scored runs like rain. They scored 283 runs in just 21 overs.

The ground in which the match was being played was not too long but the power hittig of new zealand batsman was too good.

CoreyAnderson scored his fifty off just 20 balls and for next fifty, he just took 16 more balls.
